I’ve been creating items for a few of the local craft shows for many years. Utah Art Market has had my heart for over 20 years. I met Jeni Gochnour through Art Market and started doing her show. I love both of these craft shows. They have stood the test of time and I’ve found many wonderful clients through these venues. I didn’t know how to use a computer real well in the early days of technology, so I started hand-lettering all of my tags. I spent hours hand-painting each tag because color copiers didn’t print very well back in the 90’s. Yes, I painted every single one. I was so thrilled when the color printer became so accurate that I actually started cutting up the originals on accident because I couldn’t tell the difference.
I rarely remember to capture photos of my display tables. I’m sad about that. I’ve had many great years of fun hand-lettering, sewing, designing, imagining. It’s been a huge blessing of therapy for me. So I wanted to share a post of what a typical show looks like for me. This was an Easter show I did with JeniBee Market in Holladay, Utah. You can find details about her show @jenibeemarket.
