I love these fill in the blank one-pagers that cover a whole lot of information about your child. The best part is, it can be done 100% by your student, so it’s a time saver in the scrapbooks for you! For our KSL viewers, I’ve created another hand-illustrated page that your student can personalize and color while sharing important bullet points about the upcoming school year in their own words. I can double as an album cover to your child’s scrapbook if you use those 3-ring binders to pin their school work and other important papers from the school year.
It’s a great prompter when talking with your children about school. You can find out what is creating fear, anxiety and also what they are most excited about and interested in relating to the school experience. It can act like those forms you fill out before seeing a doctor, you know if there are any potential problems or reason for concern with the answers or “symptoms” written down, and address those with your child. It’s just an over-all way to get a lot of information about your student’s feelings about school, while providing a creative activity as well.
