This is the easiest of three flower tutorials I will share this week from the book Petal to Paper by the Thuss + Farrell team. They take 7 minutes or less if you are using a Clover Super Pom Maker 58-791 (Japanese product) shown below. I ordered HERE from Amazon. These work amazing and the pom poms take just a few minutes each and look full and professional. I used the smallest pom pom maker for this project, see the pink one pictured below.
Glue little box pleats in the lower center of the petal and then carefully stretch out the upper middle of the petal to shape it into a little “scooper”. Next, hot glue the petals around the yarn ties on the back, keep the yarn ties in the center and don’t let them get in front of the petal when gluing the petal down. You’re done! Easy Peasy Pom Pom 4-Petal Flower. Ready to tie on gift boxes (leave the string tails long to wrap all the way around a box if you want), tie on cookie bags, party hats, or glue on straws to stand in a vase. They are bright and festive, and did I mention EASY?
I’ll be sharing a video tutorial on these simple flowers using the Clover Pom Maker this week as well. Watch for it!
Hugs and Pom Pom Cheers!
